There are two ways to create a standard exhibit in Digital Commons Exhibits (DCX). You can create an exhibit prior to importing items from Digital Commons, as described on this page, or you can create an exhibit during the importing process. See Import Content to a Standard Exhibit for that workflow.

To create an exhibit:

1. Select Pages in the admin sidebar, and then select the name of your site.
   
2. Above the list of exhibits, select the Add child page button, represented by a plus sign inside a circle.
   
3. Select Exhibit page.   
   
4. Next, on the exhibit edit screen, enter a title (required).
    
5. To continue customizing the exhibit banner and descriptive content, go to Customize Exhibit Settings for next steps. To save the exhibit and finalize settings later, scroll down the edit page and select Save Draft.

When ready, you can also import content from Digital Commons to populate exhibit items.
